Lure step

Treat at the dog's nose, lift slowly up and back over the head. Butt goes down naturally. Mark + reward the instant the butt hits.

Fade the lure

After 10 successful lures, use the same hand motion with an empty hand. Reward from your other hand.

Add the cue word

Once the hand motion alone produces a sit, say 'sit' 1 second before the hand motion. Within 30 reps the word alone works.
