Why a long line, not off-leash
Off-leash before reliability = guaranteed reinforcement for blowing you off. Long line = you always win.
How to use it
Biothane preferred. Drag, don't hold. If they ignore the cue, calmly walk down the line and reel them in — but still pay when they arrive.
Always pay arrival
Even a slow, distracted recall gets paid. Punishing arrival = recall poisoned.
