10 min of nose work tires a puppy more than 30 min of fetch. Most bored barkers are physically tired and mentally under-stimulated.
Enrichment menu
Snuffle mats, frozen Kongs, food-dispensing toys, scatter feeding, training games. Aim for 1+ enrichment activity per day.
Sleep audit
Counter-intuitively, exhausted puppies bark more (overtired). Confirm 18+ hours of sleep before adding stimulation.
